To the Buddhist community at Y!A: Is Buddhism truly inclusive?
I've been noticing of late some divisiveness amongst presumably the Buddhist community in R/S. Terms like "reptilian" and "thumbs down" for legitimate responses (not those intended to be "funny" or "proselytizing" from obviously non-Buddhists) to a serious question seem to be in vogue of late. As practitioners who believe in the teachings of the Buddha disagreement can be done without being inciteful. Perhaps we should, if we disagree with a posting, write a response stating our position rather than taking the anonymous "thumbs down" route or by being derogatory to a fellow practitioner? If Buddhism is truly inclusive regardless of tradition or school, can't we act in a more Buddhist manner? Your thoughts?
