With all these symptoms, could I be pregnant?

It's been almost a month exactly from the last time I had with my bf. I was off my birth contorl for a few months and just started back up about a week and a half ago. The past few days, around the same time each night, I've been feeling nauseous and have twinges in my back. I have never had allergies in my life but the past few days (once again arond the same time each night) I've been having unexplained allergies. I start sneezing and my nose runs. I have instinctevly been avoiding foods I used to eat like no other and I've been craving foods I used to never eat. I sgtarted to feel better when I started my period earlier today but my aunt told me that in my family, the women continue having their period even when they're pregnant. I haven't taken a pregnancy test yet I just wanted to get some feedback and see what everyone thought the chances were of me being pregnant. Thanks.
