Why this Scorpio guy did that?

Well I have some Scorpio friends both girls and boys, I am a Taurus and with that Scorpio guy we dated for some time. Actually I am not interested in him, I hope he isn't interested in me either but we talk random and we share stuff, so I believed we are just friends. I treated him like a friend, like I treat all my friends. He asked me today what should I do tomorrow and I asked him if he wants to meet up with me tomorrow. Then he said he was just curious and I answered if he wanna meet up just to tell me where and when, then he said "I don't insist to meet you, I never asked so" and then I said fine and bye. Not that I care so much but I felt hurt, it is weird after all when he asks he doesn't ask. Whatever, I guess I'll be fine with that. Any advices on how to treat him in the future would be appreciated because I do not have a decision how to react. Firstly I tought to ingore him from now on, but actually I do not know really and I am not sure what should I do.
