Why do girls put up with jerks?

There are a few but the main one is a lack of self esteem. A jerk doesn't actually love a woman, but a woman with low self esteem will stick with a jerk or abuser because she feels she won't be able to find better, or believes she actually deserves to be treated like garbage due to her lack of self worth, or is naive and unable to see the warning signs, put downs, flaking etc. A woman with high self esteem knows she deserves better and will not tolerate a jerk, she will be repulsed by it. Women are naturally attracted to strength, but it takes a certain level of maturity to understand what strength really is (something that young girls and boys aren't taught)You have to understand that strength is not having the ability putting others down (what a jerks does), it's having the ability to pick people up when they are down.
