Why do Creationists believe so many myths of Evolution?

We don't. And who do you think designed "natural selection"? I like your definition of natural selection. A theory is a theory because it is what is thought to be true, based on a hypothesis, and they are subject to scrutiny and many times proven to be wrong. Anyway, if we are evolving, don't we have the right to do it at our own pace, and think what we want along the way?
