Is charging 5 cents per clean dish smart?

I've decided to start earning money from my parents since they wont let me work and I'm still too young to. I was talking to my friend the other day and she said she charges 5 cents a dish that she washes and puts away. Would you think that's a good idea? Here's my plan: I'll charge 5 cents for each dish I rinse, put in the dishwasher, and put away. I could also earn the 5 cents by cleaning a dish in the sink and putting it away. While putting away the dishes, I'll count them and tally them out. At the end of the day my mom will sign it. Soon, as the end of the week comes by, she'll pay me the amount she signed for.
