I woke up with a bad cold yesterday and today my period came early? what do i do?

Does anybody have any helpful remedies. I don't like to take pills when im on my period becuase i hardly ever cramp or feel bad. But this time it hurts really bad, i also don't want to mix pain relievers and cold medicine. so what are some remedies that can help both.
